Summer 2026 Newsletter

As Spring emerges into Summer…

…and we wait for the warmer weather I look forward to the new challenges.

In the past few months I have been very involved as an artist on how we can connect to the wider community and combat antisemitism.

Working with the Manchester Jewish Museum on embracing cultural identity and being part of 'Shared Light' the first Central London Interfaith exhibition, I have began to look at the similarities we have with other immigrant groups.

Displacement, lost memories, religious identity, language and community connections, to name a few, are combined experiences and its a time to stop Jews from being an isolated species.

This battle is not for us to fight alone.

The recent rally in Central London when so many non Jewish supporters and MPs came and marched with us was very reassuring. The frightening experiences we have suffered in Manchester, Golders Green and the torching of Jewish buildings is unacceptable and for this reason I have worked on a filming expressing the need to embrace a kinder Britain.

On 10th June, St Johns Wood Synagogue is holding an event called Adapting to Change. This event is part of Board of Deputies Jewish Cultural Month and below is a video showing a shortened version of a film I’ve had made, in conjunction with film maker Michal McEwen, which will be extended to include Antisemitism acts and the response from the wider community.
