Dear Friends & Followers,
I was privileged to be selected for the "Making Waves" exhibition at Phoenix Art Space in Brighton.
It was very well attended, and the spread of interpretation amongst the printmakers, not only in technique but also in subject matter, was outstanding.
The Phoenix Gallary is right in the heart of Brighton City Centre, a 5 minute walk from the station which allowed the diversity in the attendance.
My contribution was my latest print from my Narrative Immigration Collection called "Trading Times". The sepia tones are reminiscent of past trading along the Themes, which expanded globally.
Today by the docklands, people overshadow the past in ignorance and modern architectural glass buildings dominate the landscape.
At the start of the new term, I wish everyone a Happy New Year and seasons greetings!
